This hilarious (I'm talking laugh till your sides hurt) duo were married on April 1st, that's right April fools day, after 12pm of course. On the private, stunning, bush setting of Newcastle Clay Target Club. A location the brides parents call home. It was an intimate wedding, with just their nearest and dearest. No fan fair, no bells and whistles, just them, their girls and a few close friends and family to share in their love and happiness. It was perfect!
When I first sat down and shared a coffee with these two love birds, I knew I was in for a fun, relaxed and loved up day. They just wanted it to be about them and the love they have for their gorgeous girls, Bella and Brooklyn. I also knew, with Sarah being an amazing cake decorator and the owner of Romance with Cake, that things were bound to be delicious.
Their ceremony had guests laughing one minute, with the mention of Sarah's terrible pick up line, the first time they meet, to shedding a few tears during their vows. Sarah promising that "No matter what life throws at us, I vow to face it with you, hand in hand by each others side". But I would have to say it was Bella and Brooklyn who stole the show, with the poem they had especially written for the day '10 things we love about our parents'. My favourites being "8. because they let us have desserts (but...! not all the time)" and "3. because they are the best family in the universe".
Congratulations Mr & Mrs M. Thank you for trusting me with your story and allowing me to officially sign you up to your happily ever after. I loved every minute of your special day!
